Story-telling…

1 07 2008

We had quite a lot of fun today trying to make up our very own story, which turned out to be sad, sinister and hilarious when all put together! *LOL*

I can’t really remember the exact words used, so I’ll try to recount it in my own words:

“Terima Kasih bapa,” kata Sam.

Tiba-tiba, Sam dengar ibunya berkata “Sam, bangun, bangun!”

If you didn’t understand tt, you can read this:

ENGLISH VERSION

This day, it was raining heavily. Sam had not gone home since yesterday because of the rain. When the rain stopped, he ran home immediately. After Sam went into his room, his mother came in and scolded him.

“Mom, you didn’t go to the market in the morning?” Sam asked.

“No, I didn’t go to the market because I wasn’t feeling well,” his mother replied.

“Mom, do you have food then?” asked Sam. “If not, I can buy food for you.” “We have no more money to buy food,” said his mother. “Why? Is father not working?” asked Sam.

Mother cried and said, “Your father died last year!”

Sam smiled and said, “Mother, it’s ok.” Suddenly, Sam’s father entered the room. Sam continues, “Father is still alive!” His mother fainted. Sam ran to the swimming pool and fell down. His father flew in front of him and said, “Happy Birthday!” “Thank you father,” Sam said.

Suddenly, Sam heard his mother saying, “Get up, get up!” Sam woke up at 5am and realised that he was dreaming.

Ok, I know some of you, my bahasa Melayu classmates, would find certain discrepancies in the story 😛 My apologies for not being able to remember the exact details, haha, so I tweaked the storyline a little. Feel free to leave a comment if you still remember the sentence that you contributed to our story 🙂
